The engineering training department is responsible for the training of all the engineers from the basic engineering practices up to
Part 66 level and
Cyprus Airways aircraft type training.
Engineering and
Maintenance Training requirements are conducted within the Engineering
Department premises in a room specifically allocated for training purposes. Maintenance
management personnel are provided with technical training as necessary for their
specific tasks. Differences training in particular, (e.g. Engine and Airframe
differences) is provided for all affected personnel, when a change or
significant addition to the fleet is made. Management personnel
are included in training programs given by Cyprus Airways, and are subject to
the same continuation training process. The Training
facilitates the following courses: 1. A330 Type Training 2. A319/A320/A321 Type
Training 3. Recurrent Training
(Technical and Procedural Continuation Training) 4. Human Factors
(Maintenance Resource Management) 5. Basic Engineering
Practices and Procedures 6. Manufacturer’s /
Vendors Courses The Training Room is
administered by the Senior Training Officer who administers all Training
requirements of the Department.
