Planning Department
is responsible for: 1. Maintaining all
necessary airworthiness data (records) provided by the aircraft repair organisations, in an
up-to-date condition. 2. Ensuring that the
Planning function properly, implementing the development
of the Aircraft Maintenance Schedule in conjunction with the Head of
Engineering. 3. Ensuring in
cooperation with Development Section that all
Airworthiness Directives and other relevant mandatory requirements are complied
with when due. 4. Ensuring, through
the workforce under its control, that the quality of workmanship in the final
product is to a standard acceptable, implementing a code of
practice in respect of maximum duty hours of maintenance personnel, taking into
account any Human Factors issues.
5. The Planning department is responsible for the planning of the "C" checks (yearly checks) of the aircraft, the issuing and planning of the work orders and any additional checks, modifications etc which have to be done,
when instructions are received by Development Section.
