Head of Aircraft Maintenance: Mr. Aaron Karaochlanian

 

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

The Head of Aircraft Maintenance is responsible to ensure that: -

 

a) all aircraft line and component (workshop) maintenance is correctly performed and certified as required.

b) manpower allocation is in accordance with work requirements and that sufficient trained and approved staff are available to meet all maintenance needs of the company’s and other operators’ aircraft.

c) aircraft maintenance hangar and apron are maintained in a functional condition commensurate with the needs of aircraft maintenance as set out by the airworthiness authorities and local statutory regulations on health and safety at work.

d) all work carried out is adequately recorded in the aircraft records and that the standard of such entries are in accordance with the requirements of the approval and airworthiness authorities.

 

The Head of Aircraft Maintenance is responsible for the accomplishment of the preflight inspections and the rectification to an approved standard of any defect and damage affecting the safe operation of all aircraft at Larnaca base, Paphos and London (Heathrow), taking into account the MEL/CDL.

 

He reports to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
