The ground equipment facility department is the department in engineering which is responsible for the serviceability of all the vehicles and machinery of the engineering (ground support equipment).
All cars used by the personel of engineering and all the ground power, air-starters, ladders, jacks etc are serviced and kept in a serviceable contition by this department.
