The Cyprus Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers in an effort to improve the knowledge and qualifications of their members, has organized a three day educational seminar between 13 & 15 April 2000, with the co-operation of the Cyprus Airways Engineering Department.
The subject of the seminar was the Engine Propellers (modules 7 & 8 of CAA BCAR Section L) and the purpose was for the members to obtain the relevant license so that they may reconciliate their licenses to the new European licenses which will be effective from 2001. The seminars followed by 6 A & C licensed aircraft engineers from Cyprus Airways and instructed by the CSE Oxford Engineer Training Collage Instructor Tom Walmsley.
Following the successful participation to the seminar the licensed aircraft engineers will be examined by the UK Civil Aviation Authority obtaining the relevant license.
The seminars were sponsored by the Association.
