
Cyprus Airways Ltd, as an approved EASA Part 145 maintenance organisation is allowed to maintain and release to service aircraft or aircraft components on behalf of JAR OPS operator, as defined in Cyprus Airways MOE 1.9 (Scope of Work).
Cyprus Airways clearly defines the limits of its responsibilities for any subcontracted services performed for the operator and especially for the pre-flight inspections, the airworthiness of the aircraft and the serviceability of both operational and emergency equipment in sub-contracting contracts.
These contracts are managed by Aircraft Maintenance and are accepted by Quality Section. Cyprus Airways subcontracted maintenance tasks shall never exceed the EASA Part 145 approved scope of work and related capability List.
