With the opportunity of the arrival of the new aircraft, Cyprus Airways has decided to change the external and also the internal appearance of the fleet.
The external appearance conforms to the international need for simplicity, with greater white areas for a better promotion of the companies identity. Emphasis was given to the word "Cyprus" of the "Cyprus Airways" emblem giving a greater promotion to the country of Cyprus to the vast amount of destinations of Cyprus Airways in Europe and Middle East.
The logo of Cyprus Airways, the flying moufflon has been preserved together with the two basic colours, the blue which symbolises the sky and the sea, and the deep yellow (Ohra) which symbolises the ground and the Cyprus flag.
The fonts of the letters "Cyprus Airways" have been slightly changed to better suite the general external appearance of the airplanes.
The Cyprus flag in a wavy form was also attached at the front part of the aeroplane to emphasize the aircraft's origin.

The internal appearance of the aircraft has also changed. On the side walls the colours are much lighter like shades of gray, and the chairs are dressed with blue cloth for the economy class Aphrodite and blue leather for the business class Apollon.
On certain places in economy class you can see a watermark of the statue of Aphrodite where in business class a watermark of the statue of Apollon.
