Engineering support to Eurocypria flights in Crete

From March 2006 and up to October 2006, Eurocypria Airlines is flying from/to Crete, a Greek island at the south of Greece to 13 European Destinations in 6 countries.

Flights operate from Heraklion & Chania where the company maintains an operational basis apart from Larnaca and Paphos with an Airbus 320 aircraft leased from Cyprus Airways and the new Boeing 737-800 recently obtained by Eurocypria.

As already known, Eurocypria Airlines Ltd has contracted with the Cyprus Airways approved Maintenance JAR145 Organisation (Engineering Department) to provide maintenance support service for its operations. To fulfil the above needs Cyprus Airways Engineering have based in Heraklion & Chania 4 engineers (1 B1 & 1 B2 licensed engineers and 2 mechanic) on a 2 weeks cycle.

Cyprus Airways Engineering has arranged to obtain the necessary facilities in the airports to be able to operate normally.
