The Cyprus Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers in an effort to improve the knowledge and qualifications of their members, has organized a two day educational seminars with the co-operation of the CY Engineering Department.
The subject of the seminars was the Automatic Pilot of Helicopters and the purpose was for the members to obtain the relevant license so that they may reconciliate their licenses to the new European licenses which will be effective from 2001. The seminars followed by 26 Avionics licensed aircraft engineers from Cyprus Airways and instructed by the British official Instructor Mr Robert Knight.
Following the successful participation to the seminars the licensed aircraft engineers will be examined by the UK Civil Aviation Authority obtaining the relevant license.
The seminars were sponsored by the Association.
